What is an escape room?
A game in which participants confined to a room are given a set amount of time to find a way to escape or complete a mission. Players will discover hidden clues and solve a series of puzzles or riddles to succeed. Players must have
a keen eye, use their critical thinking skills, and cooperate as a team. Escape rooms offer fun opportunities for date nights, parties, and team building.
How long do I have to escape?
You have one hour.
How much does it cost?
Our rooms are $40-$45 per person, based on your group size. The minimum booking is 2 people.
Am I locked in?
No. You will not be locked in the room. You may leave the room to use the restroom, but your time will continue to expire.
Are your rooms private?
Yes, all of our rooms are private. You will not be combined with other groups.
What can I bring?
There will be a designated place to leave your belongings once you are inside the escape room. You are not permitted to use your cell phones while you are escaping. Taking photos or videos inside the room is not permitted.
What if I have a large group?
Our maximum capacity is 6-8 players per room, depending on the room you select. Some aspects of Art in Our Time may feel crowded with 6 players, so we recommend a group of 4. One portion of The Tipsy Tailor will feel cramped with
more than 8. If your group is larger, you may want to book separate slots and compete for the best time against your friends!
What is the minimum age?
You may bring children of any age with you into the room. Please be advised that only children 5 and under are free.
What if we get stuck?
Hints will be provided upon request. Your Game Master will always be available to help you.
I’ve never done an escape room before. Any advice?
Everything in the room could be a clue. Every idea is worth trying, never dismiss a suggestion from your group. Communication is key! If you see something or solve something, call it out to your group. And of course, have fun!
Where are you located?
13031 Newport Ave, Suite 202, Tustin CA 92780. Our door is on the ground level, beside the bank ATMs.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive with enough time to find parking, as it can take time to find a spot in our lot. There is additional parking in the rear.
What if I’m running late?
If you or members of your group are running late, you forfeit that time from your game play. We cannot allot you your full booking time, as other appointments in the day will be negatively impacted.
Helpful directions:
We are located in Lafayette Plaza on the corner of Irvine Blvd and Newport Ave in Tustin, CA, minutes from the 55 freeway. Our suite is on the second floor, above the Banc of California. Our door is located on the ground floor, beside
the bank’s ATM. NOTE: There is NOT an elevator with access to our suite.
What are your cleaning procedures for COVID-19?
We have built in extra time to our reset period between each booking to sanitize high-touch surfaces such as locks, door handles and props. Please keep in mind that some items in the room cannot be sanitized. Hand sanitizer will
be made available to all groups.
Are masks required?
We will not be requiring guests to wear masks on the premises. Staff may continue to wear masks as they see fit.
Should I wait outside?
We are requesting that all groups wait outside until 10 minutes before their booking time. All members of your group should be present before you enter. We are minimizing the amount of time guests are spending in our lobby and thank
you for your understanding.
What if I have younger kids with me? Can they play?
Our rooms are family friendly, children are welcome but they cannot be left unsupervised in the lobby.
